RETAINWORKS-Helping your associates Return to Work/Stay at Work after an injury or illness
RETAINWORKS is a federally funded grant that Kansas was awarded. It’s purpose is to assist individuals to stay at work/return to work after an injury, illness or an exacerbation of an existing medical condition. We accomplish this by using an intervention strategy that coordinates health care services alongside workforce development services, accommodations and support services.

John Costello
John Costello has been with Workforce Alliance Kansas since December of 2021 and now serves as the RETAINWORKS Outreach Coordinator.
Mr. Costello’s career in the HR space began in 2018 as a temporary recruiter for Masterbrand Cabinets in Newton KS. moving into a trainer role. From there he split time between recruiting and developing retention strategies based on training or retraining the company’s hourly associates.
Mr. Costello feels very strongly about helping HR Departments look at staffing solutions, and feels RETAINWORKS fully supports this, not only from the HR side, but also helps the community as a whole.
